About Dharma Canine Collective

What they offer

Dharma Canine Collective ties training together with boarding, dog sitting, socialization and enrichment activities matched to each dog's breed and genetics, with memberships, overnight care and hiking outings. The owner describes working from basic obedience through behavioral challenges and says her approach is particularly important when addressing reactivity and aggression. New clients start with a call and an in-person assessment.

How they train

The site says it looks at diet, fulfillment, training and impulse control together, and focuses on a dog's emotional and mental state rather than behavior alone.

About the trainer

Owner Jackie worked for years as an ER and ICU veterinary technician and pet sitter before completing her education in canine behavior science and training.
