Humane training and behavior consulting

Diamond Dogs Behavior & Training is a Portland private training and behavior consultation practice led by Torie Silletto, CTC, PCBC-A, CPDT-KA. It is dedicated to animal welfare and uses humane, science-based, reward-based methods built on positive reinforcement and trust-building, including for challenging behaviors.

Credentials and experience

Torie is an honors graduate of The Academy for Dog Trainers with its Certification in Training and Counseling, a Professional Canine Behavior Consultant accredited by the Pet Professional Accreditation Board, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, a Separation Anxiety Pro Trainer and an Aggression in Dogs Master Course graduate. She is credited with over ten years of hands-on experience, beginning with complex shelter cases, enrichment and puppy socialization. Diamond Dogs reports being voted Best Dog Trainer in Portland and Best of Oregon by Sniffspot in 2023.

How it works

Training starts with an Initial Consultation to build a custom plan. In-person private training and behavior consultation are offered in Portland, with virtual services for clients farther away.
