About Dog And Me Learning Center

A learning center for owners and dogs

Dog And Me Learning Center is a training center at 7915 Mobile Highway in Pensacola where owners learn to teach their own dogs. Owner and instructor Deb Miller says she has been involved with dogs and training for more than 50 years, including over 30 years as a handler showing dogs at AKC events. She has trained conformation, obedience, tracking and hunting, and is a lifetime member of the Labrador Retriever Club and a member of the Pensacola Dog Fanciers Club and the FL-AL Toy Breed Club. Classes are limited to six for individual attention.

Classes

Puppy Class ($15 drop-in, Thursdays) covers sit, down, stand, leash walking, recall and confidence building on ramps and tunnels. Beginner Obedience ($100 for 6 weeks) is for dogs over 5 months with little training. Scent Work runs 6 weeks for $150, with Saturday drop-in scent classes. There are also conformation, rally and obedience drop-ins, a monthly AKC rules and ring procedure seminar ($40), a coat-stripping grooming class, one-hour private classes ($75) and $25 consultations.
