About Dog Obedience Training Jacksonville

Sally Said So Professional Dog Training publishes a Jacksonville practice as part of a statewide company that describes itself as "locally owned company trusted by veterinarians and pet owners for knowledgeable, compassionate training", working since 2009.

What they publish

The published service list is a comprehensive consultation, private training sessions, group dog training, a pre-purchase and adoption consultation, an expecting-parents program, service dog training and therapy dog training, plus urgent behavior help. Private sessions are described as covering puppy training, socialization, basic obedience and behavior modification for aggressive or anxious dogs, "tackling everything from leash training to crate training to separation anxiety and beyond". Service dog training is named for mobility assistance, hearing and psychiatric service dogs, and therapy dog training for therapy certification.

How the training runs

Delivery is in-home first by design: "we bring training directly to you and create a plan tailored to your specific needs. Sessions begin at home – where everyday habits form – and then progress into real-life environments." The stated philosophy is named on the site as "Decisions, Not Dominance", described as treating dogs "as capable learners rather than problems to control", on the grounds that "Training that depends entirely on food can lose effectiveness when rewards aren't present, while force-based methods may undermine confidence."

Credentials they claim

The site names AKC Canine Good Citizen test evaluators, Fear Free certified trainers and Pet Tech CPR certified staff, and states that group classes are a perk of its premier programs. The site states financing options are offered; ask about prices when you call.
