owners."
Booking and offers
"Every new client can start with a free consultation. Andrew will talk through your dog's age,
temperament, behavior, routine, and training goals before recommending the right service or
program." Additional stated benefits: a $25 referral credit toward future services for each referral
that books, and a 15% multi-dog discount on boarding or daycare for each additional dog from the
same household.
Service area
"Based in Monroe, Dog Psych Board and Train regularly works with dog owners across Downriver and
Southeast Michigan, including Trenton, Grosse Ile, Woodhaven, Flat Rock, and parts of Metro
Detroit." Because residential programs need travel mainly for drop-off, pickup and follow-up,
"clients also come from Temperance, Dundee, and Toledo-area suburbs."
Background
"From a young age, I've had a natural connection with animals… Growing up with an Australian
Shepherd helped inspire my lifelong interest in canine behavior, communication, and the way dogs
respond to structure, consistency, and trust." The practice began with one case: "My path as a
trainer began when I helped a friend whose dog was at risk of being rehomed due to behavioral
issues. Through patience, structure, and a balanced approach, I helped that dog build trust and make
lasting, meaningful progress."
