About dog training by danny
Dog Training by Danny is the oldest business in this directory's Nassau set by its own dating: the site's copyright line reads 'Dog Training Center Long Island, 1976' and the business describes itself as family operated through generations, more than forty years as a family-owned and operated pet training center.
Seven published programs
The service navigation is the clearest statement of what is on offer: puppy training, obedience training, aggressive behavior, overnight training, day school training, in-home training and in-home boarding. Two of those are worth an owner's attention because they are uncommon locally. Day School Training is a day-boarding training format – the dog goes out for the day and comes home at night – which suits a household that will not send a dog away for weeks. In-Home Boarding is the other side of the same idea: boarding in a home rather than a kennel run.
How to reach it
Published hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm, Saturday 9:30am to 4pm, and Sunday by appointment, with the site inviting calls to arrange late-hour appointments. The named contact is Danny.
Who it’s best for
Best for a Freeport-area owner who wants day-school training rather than a multi-week residency, from a business with a very long local track record.
