About Dog Training Elite North East Houston

A husband-and-wife franchise team

Dog Training Elite North East Houston is the Northeast Houston location of the Dog Training Elite franchise. It is run by owners Daniel and Rachel Van De Mark. Daniel completed 31 years of military service before starting the business; Rachel's background includes a 22-year military career and 15 years in corporate America. Their own pack, Louie, Lola, Sophie and Lucy, are introduced as business partners.

What they offer

The local team offers in-home dog training, basic obedience, advanced training and specialized service and therapy dog programs, shaped around each client's schedule and each dog's home environment. Program pages cover obedience, puppy training, service dog tasks, anxiety and aggression, therapy dogs and group classes, with help for leash walking, barking, separation anxiety, jumping, recall and destructive chewing. The location has also highlighted the role of service dogs for people with PTSD. A free assessment starts the process.

What owners say

One client wrote that Rachel and Daniel "are SO knowledgeable about the training process and make it fun as well as easy." Another, training a 12-year-old dog with trainer Alex, mentioned private lessons followed by group classes and lifetime support.
