DogFather Dog Institute is a dog training business whose founder describes himself as a canine behavior educator with more than a decade of hands-on experience, and who also shares training tips on social media.

Programs

The six-lesson package meets once a week for six weeks. Dogs are placed in Puppy Obedience or Adult Obedience levels, and lessons cover sit, down, stand, wait and stay, coming when called, heel and loose-leash walking, and place training, tailored to the owner's goals. Board and train programs start with a phone consultation and a meet and greet, last a minimum of two weeks and always include private lessons for the owner.

Training approach

The institute trains primarily with positive reinforcement and says it usually does not recommend e-collar training.
