About Doggie Howser Pet Social Club

An East Austin dog social club

Doggie Howser Pet Social Club is a dog daycare, boarding, grooming, training and event space at 2611 East 5th Street in East Austin. Founder and owner Anjuli built it after a career in sales and digital marketing, drawing on years of taking her own dog, Griffey, to daycare and boarding. Play spaces are split into large and small dog areas with indoor and outdoor yards, and staff are on site 24 hours a day.

Training

Training options include day school at $50, private one-on-one in-home training at $200, and six-week group classes of six sessions: beginner puppy, beginner adult and intermediate at $300 each, and advanced at $350. Puppy school and dog walking are offered too, and new dogs start with an evaluation day.

What to ask

Ask who teaches the classes, which training methods they use and when the next six-week sessions begin. The club is open 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 5 pm on weekends.
