About Doggie Stylz By Karrie

What it is

Two businesses sharing one home-based site in Jamestown: "Doggie Stylz and 4 Paws Training are a home-based, family owned businesses, with Doggie Stylz offering pet grooming and boarding and 4 Paws Training offering professional dog training classes."

Who runs it

A mother and daughter: "Doggie Stylz and 4 Paws Training Academy are run by an experienced mother/daughter team who ensure your pet has a comfortable experience and will leave clean, healthy and happy." Their credentials are stated separately and precisely: "our owner Karrie being an AKC Safety Certified Groomer and her daughter Mary having experience training dogs in Junior Class in AKC Events."

The training side

Training runs under the 4 Paws name, and the site describes its scope in one line: "4 Paws Training Academy offers animal behavior and service dog training. Contact us today to learn more about our training and animal behavior services."

Boarding, with an unusual rule

Boarding is single-household only: "We provide a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for your dog, giving it personal one-on-one care and it will never play with dogs outside their own family. There is one large dog yard and five 10'x10' kennels set up outside for smaller dogs to play in." Rates are published — "Dogs – $13 per night. Cats – $8 per night" — with drop-off and pick-up limited to "Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays, 9:00am drop-off & 5:00pm pick-up," and "Special arrangements can be made ahead of time."

Grooming

The third leg of the business, with products listed on the site and the promise that "We will have your pet looking and smelling their best with a variety of different cleaning products and grooming methods."
