Dopamine K9 Training is a dog training business on Delight Valley School Rd in Cottage Grove, founded by Jeremy and Danielle. Jeremy has spent the last decade rescuing, training and rehabilitating high-risk dogs and designed the Rescue Leash. Danielle is a former veterinary technician who ran a home dog rescue and later managed a pitbull training and adoption program for an Oregon rescue.

Method

The founders reject punishment-based training and dominance through force, saying a fear-based approach damages trust and can increase aggression. Their Dopamine Enrichment Behavior System is customized to create a happier dog and a better relationship.

How they help

Services cover stress, anxiety and fear; exercise and stimulation through games that satisfy natural drives; basic to advanced obedience for pulling, jumping and ignoring commands; real-life socialization on outings; and aggression and reactivity, addressed with incentivized alternative behaviors and confidence building.
