About DOWN RIGHT DOG TRAINING

Obedience, protection and behavior in West Palm Beach

Down Right Dog Training is a West Palm Beach area dog training business that bills itself as an obedience, protection and behavior specialist. Its approach prioritizes positive, encouraging techniques that build a dog's confidence and strengthen the bond with the owner. Central methods include free shaping and play before any training tools are introduced, designed to keep dogs happy and their emotional well-being at the forefront.

The trainers

The business is run by Yvan Granados and Kimberlee Ybarra. Yvan holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine with a focus in ethology from UNAM in Mexico City. He is described as a twice-certified G.T.R. Level 3 Decoy in French Ring and was chosen as a juror for the 2023 French Ring Selectifs in France. Kimberlee is credited with five years of professional dog training. Together they say they have over a quarter of a century in the field and have titled dogs in sports from obedience and agility to protection.
