About Empire Ridge Ranch
What they offer
Empire Ridge Ranch trains on East 44th Street in Tucson and offers private coaching, group classes, herding and dog sports. Private one-on-one sessions come to you and cover puppy problems, everyday obedience such as walking nicely and coming when called, and reactivity, anxiety, aggression, barking and lunging.
Comprehensive program
A comprehensive private training program works on everyday obedience, off-leash reliability where it is safe, and preparation for the Canine Good Citizen test, therapy dog testing and service dog public access at a foundation level.
Classes and sports
The classes page describes herding as close to year round as the weather allows, drop-in rally and a training lab, and a weekly PSA / American Schutzhund club. The Gold Program is a small, year-long coaching group for motivated teams interested in sport or advanced obedience, combining private lessons, semi-privates, classes, workshops and drop-ins.
About the trainer
Liane Ehrich is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over thirty years of experience in animal training and behavior, and has completed continuing education in canine behavior, aggression and behavior pharmacology. She competes in herding, rally, dock diving, disc and protection sports and hosts the podcast Your Dog's Best Life.
