About Faithfully Yours Dog Training

What they offer

Faithfully Yours Dog Training is based at 726 Pinola Braxton Rd in Braxton and works by appointment. Its home page describes support for dogs with complex behavior challenges – reactivity, aggression, fear, or behavior after a medical diagnosis – through behavior consultations, post-diagnosis behavior support, cooperative care training, sensory rooms and virtual AKC Fit Dog classes.

How it works

The Programs page says every potential private student begins with an Integrated Behavior Assessment, which it describes as 100% virtual: owners send videos of the dog moving and going about its day, then a long phone call reviews the findings and a written behavior plan follows. The Classes page describes a six-week virtual AKC Fit Dog course in three levels for dogs with some prior training. The home page names Jackson, Florence, Richland, Flowood, Brandon, Pearl, Ridgeland and Madison as within driving distance for in-person work.

Approach

The home page says it follows the standards of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, uses positive reinforcement, and does not use prong, choke or shock collars/e-collars in any program. It says it has supported dogs since 2014.
