Flyer's Paw Zone is a dog care facility in Dayton, Ohio at 4901 Linden Ave, branded "Where Dogs Stay and Pla-Mor." It positions itself as a full-service stay-and-play destination, with caregivers it describes as licensed, insured, and experienced, and it offers free consultations and facility tours to new clients.
Services
Obedience training is part of a broad services menu that also includes daytime daycare, overnight boarding, feeding and medication services, playtime and socialization, an underwater treadmill, and pool rental. The training is framed around help with manners and trouble behaviors rather than a detailed methodology, so the site reads more as a care-and-enrichment center that includes training than as a dedicated obedience-training school. Specific training programs and pricing aren't detailed online, so a consultation would be the way to learn more.

We went here for several years and finally stopped. Our dog came home with a nasty kennel cough, the SAME day we picked him up. I emailed them just to let them know and instead of handling it professionally, they went FULL GASLIGHT. They said 1) They didn't notice any cough whatsoever (even though he had it BAD the same day we picked him up) 2) There's no way he could have got it there because "their vet friend says it takes 7-14 days to incubate" and he was only there a 4 days. Ridiculous.
The truth is they host dozens and dozens of dogs at the same time and regularly have HVAC issues. It was freezing out the weekend we left our dog there when he got kennel cough. And once on a stay over the summer, they had to evacuate the pets to the owner's home because the AC went out. Which was great that they did that, but shows the place has HVAC issues. I wonder what the temperature in there is overnight – to heat that entire place to a livable temperature for all the dogs?

Dogs have been going there for 2+ years. Price is good, staff is always friendly and the dogs have a great time. One day I'll get them some pool time.

This was our first time boarding our pup (my first time boarding a dog ever) and we chose Flyer's Paw Zone based on its excellent reviews. If you are looking for a place, this is it. The staff is attentive and you can immediately tell they are good at what they do the minute you walk in the door. The entire facility is incredibly clean, and all the dogs there look like they are having the time of their life. I am grateful a place like this exists so close to home. Prices are affordable and typical for a kennel based on my research, but I know for sure this place goes way beyond a typical boarding service in the quality of its staff and facilities.

My pup loved it! They took the time to get her acclimated, and then paired her with other dogs that had the same play style. She was hesitant to go in, but then was pulling to get back inside as we were leaving! I think that’s a testimony alone to how great this place is. Bonus: the update pics and report card!

My 1 year old Aussie , Fin just completed the 10 session training with Courtney at Flyers Paw Zone and it was money well spent ! I promised my boy when I got him that I would not fail him and this training was key! Courtney did an exceptional job getting him socialized , loose leash walking and being calm when out in public ! I HIGHLY recommend Flyers for all of your training and boarding needs !
