About Four Paws Pet Resort

What it is

Four Paws Pet Resort is primarily a boarding and daycare business at 1737 Sane Rd SE in Dalton. Its own site lists obedience training among the services offered to guests, alongside spa treatment, grooming, baths, daycare and transportation — so training here is an add-on to a stay rather than a standalone program; ask about the curriculum, trainer and method behind it. Anyone booking specifically for training should ask what it covers.

The facility

The site describes 24-hour on-site care, a veterinarian on call around the clock, daily monitoring charts, and acres of fenced countryside. Additional amenities listed include dispensing medication and special meal plans for guests with particular needs. Opening hours are split morning and afternoon, with Wednesday and Sunday closed.

How they describe themselves

The stated mission is to provide a home away from home in a healthy and safe environment, and to be an asset in the community by educating and assisting where pet care is concerned. The site says staff are trained professionals who have passed certifications in animal care, customer service and facility management; ask whether any hold a training credential and who does the training.
