The trainer

Canine behavioral specialist Shahar Fearing began as an Assistance Dog Instructor training service and hearing dogs for 9 years, the last four with shelter dogs, where she deepened her knowledge of behavior modification. She has trained privately since 2015, building customized plans in clients' homes and giving owners the tools to keep good habits going.

Services

Offerings include service dog foundations for owner-trainers, compassionate help for anxiety and reactivity, puppy and adult basics, private in-home training and a boot camp with multiple trainer sessions. Group classes in Northfield, offered through Community Services, include puppy, basic obedience, Canine Good Citizen and advanced obedience, and a reactive dog class.
