What the training is aimed at

The home page names the practical problems in the owner's voice: "Do you want your pup to be welcome at your friends' and families' homes? But is he lacking some manners? … Maybe there is no fenced-in yard so you need some leash-walking skills. Maybe your pup needs to learn to be alone in a crate while you go out to play." The trainer's own dogs are offered as the proof – photographed on sit-stays at welcome centers and public sites – with the claim "My pups have traveled the US and Canada. They are taught to be respectful of their neighbors and housemates … I can help your dogs to have the same manners."

The about page introduces Jennifer Goldberg, KPA Certified Training Professional, and says "At Fur Gone Wild, Jennifer believes in training the whole dog. She embraces the wild child, the calm pup, and the one in between. Her training program is personalized and tailored to your needs with your dog at your pace. She uses science-based, positive-reinforcement methods to achieve your goals with your dog." In her own words: "I have owned dogs for over 15 years … I recently completed the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Training Professional program. This 6 month, intensive course teaches science-based, positive reinforcement training for trainers to teach the dogs and their owners." She adds that "All but one of my dogs has learned using a clicker."
