What they offer
George Menna Dog Training has provided mobile dog training for Santa Cruz and surrounding areas since 2008. The philosophy centers on teaching handlers how to manage their dog's excitement, so that many unwanted behaviors are prevented.
How it works
The first visit is a free 45-minute in-home assessment, followed by private training sessions. Ten-week group classes let clients practice routines in real-world settings, and pack walks add socialization with other dogs.

Board and train takes place at the trainer's location, and a lifetime training and socialization option is also listed.
