Golden Boy Dog Training offers in-home private training, real-world training and socialization adventures. Obedience work covers polite leash walking, recall, calm greetings, impulse control and cues such as sit, down, stay, place, wait and leave it. A behavior and reactivity track helps dogs with leash reactivity, fear-based or defensive behavior, resource guarding, handling sensitivities and overarousal.

Approach

The business is run by two co-owners who met while working at a dog daycare. Training is reward-based, each session includes coaching and demonstrations, and owners get a written summary with next steps after every visit.
