About Golden Grange Kennels

Golden Grange Kennels in Chesterfield

Golden Grange Kennels is an all-breed boarding, grooming and training facility in rural Chesterfield, at 134 Chesterfield Georgetown Road. It was born in 2002, and its obedience classes are held under the direction of Joseph Mosner, whose dogs have earned numerous AKC titles, including a UDX, along with a Dog World award for attaining a CD, CDX and UD in less than 12 months.

Classes

Training uses purely positive motivational techniques, in seven-week semesters. The schedule covers Puppy Kindergarten (two to six months), Basic Obedience I and II, an AKC Canine Good Citizen course, Novice Obedience for the CD title, Open/Utility for CDX, UD and UDX, and agility classes from beginner to advanced. Private lessons are available to students enrolled in group classes, and walk-ins are possible for some classes with pre-approval ($35 per class).
