About Guardian K9 Solutions

Guardian K-9 Solutions was founded in 2019 and publishes Asheboro, North Carolina as its base. It runs two businesses side by side – pet training, and working-dog training – and the working side is the deeper one.

Pet training

The published pet programs are Board and Train, Private Lessons, Day and Train, and Aggression and Behavior Modification. The business describes its aim as helping dogs form a positive association with training and building obedience that lasts.

Working dogs

This is the unusual part of its menu. It publishes separate pages for Service Dogs, Facility Dogs, Conservation K9s, Police K9 Training, Conservation Detection Dogs, and Search and Rescue Dogs. Its own summary of what it trains for lists pet dogs of all breeds, medical alert service dogs, police K9s, facility dogs, personal protection, conservation, arson, cadaver, and search and rescue.

Method

The business publishes a FAQ answering what a balanced trainer is and how it differs, and its own answer is that every dog is different, so the tools and the plan change with the dog. It describes in-person consultations and custom training rather than a fixed package.
