About GunDog Kennels Boarding and Training

German Shorthaired Pointer specialists in Lyndonville

Gun Dog Kennels in Lyndonville breeds and trains German Shorthaired Pointers as hunting companions. Owners Margery (Marge) and Rodger say they have been training and hunting gun dogs since 1990, and they are exclusive breeders of AKC registered German Shorthaired Pointers. The kennel is in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, a few miles from interstates 91 and 93.

Training philosophy

Training is limited to pointing breeds, and only a few dogs are taken each training season so every dog gets personal attention. Client dogs must be current on all shots and are handled with the same care as the owners' own hunting dogs. Besides training, the kennel offers puppies, started dogs when available, and boarding.
