About H.K. Dog Training

Board and train with Hunter Kearns

H.K. Dog Training is a dog training company at 5600 Higginbotham Rd. in Fort Myers, founded in January 2020 by owner and head trainer Hunter Kearns. Hunter has more than 8 years of experience as a law enforcement K9 handler and pet dog trainer, and works with assistant trainer Livia Crews. The business started out of a residential house, taking one dog at a time.

Approach

H.K. Dog Training describes its method as balanced training, using positive whenever available and negative when it must, and showing dogs how their decisions lead to the result. Programs are tailored to each family and dog.

Programs

Services include obedience training, board and train, puppy training, on- and off-leash training, behavior modification and boarding. Clients describe a two-week puppy board and train and a six-week advanced off-leash board and train, with lifetime support afterward. The company is open Monday to Sunday, 8:00am to 8:00pm.

What owners say
