About Heeling Hounds Dog Training

In-home positive training

Heeling Hounds Dog Training is a San Antonio in-home trainer founded and owned by Glenda Herrin, who is credited with training over 1000 dogs since 2008. The trainer comes to the client's home, assesses each dog in its own environment and gives owners tailored suggestions, demonstrations and tips, using gentle, science-based positive reinforcement and rejecting harsh methods, shouting, intimidation and aversive tools.

Credentials

Glenda holds certifications as a Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, the Animal Behavior College Level II and Raise With Praise Dog Training. She has been a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers since 2008, and a Mentor Trainer for the CATCH Canine Trainer's Academy since 2016 and the Animal Behavior College since 2010.
