About Herodog K9 training

Herodog K9 Training states its own location without ambiguity: "We are located in the beautiful mountain area of Waynesville NC!" The site says the business has been serving local pets and families for over five years.

A published price list

This is one of the few businesses in the metro that puts numbers on the page. A basic obedience class program covering basic commands is listed at $120. A two-week board and train, where the dog is sent to the trainers for fourteen days and the owner is then shown how to maintain the obedience, is listed at $2,500. Decoy services are listed at $100.

The specialist end

Alongside the pet work, the site publishes protection and working-dog services: "Offering everything from sport work, PPD, and police K9". The decoy service – a handler in a bite suit working a dog – belongs to that side of the business and is priced separately, which is what makes the claim concrete rather than decorative.

How they run classes

The site's own FAQ answers two questions worth knowing before booking: family members are welcome to attend classes, and the business states it wants sessions kept conducive to the dog's learning.
