About Hope Retrievers
Retriever and obedience training in Whitewright
Hope Retrievers is owned and operated by Kelli Hope at 485 FM 3297 in Whitewright, about an hour north of Dallas, serving North Texas. Kelli specializes in all-breed obedience, gun dogs and retrievers competing in AKC Hunt Tests, and has qualified several retrievers for the AKC Master Nationals and UKC International Grand. She describes a well-balanced program and runs a 36-dog training operation so each dog gets enough individual time.
Programs
Puppy Academy, for pups 12 to 16 weeks, introduces marks, birds, bumpers and water along with socialization. The Gun Dog Program, for retrievers 6 months and up, covers steadiness to shot, collar conditioning, force fetch and obedience. The Advanced Hunt Test Program adds diversion birds, honoring, multiple and blind retrieves. The Advanced Obedience Program teaches on- and off-lead walking, no, here, heel, sit and place. Boarding is available, with pick-up and delivery for a fee.
