About Horizon Retrievers, LLC.

Horizon Retrievers was established in 2019 and was formerly called Shorthairs and Shotguns. Its footer publishes Greensboro, North Carolina as its base, and it describes itself as offering companion dog training across the Winston-Salem and Greensboro area.

The two kinds of dog it trains

The business is explicit that it works both ends of one spectrum. In its own words, whether an owner wants a well-rounded pet, a go-everywhere-with-you best buddy, or a reliable hunting dog, the aim is the same. That dual focus – companion manners and gundog work – is what separates it from the general obedience trainers around it.

What it says it is building

The stated goal is calm, confident, well-mannered dogs, and owners who have been given the knowledge and tools to keep them that way. The business says it treats a client's dog as family because that is what the dog is to the client.

Its own navigation publishes Training Programs, an Early Bird Program, Online Training, and a Graduates page showing dogs it has finished. Ask directly about program length and price.
