What they offer

IBS Canine Training teaches six-week group classes, with private lessons, semi-private lessons for one to three dogs and Canine Good Citizen test preparation. The Puppy Beginner class is a foundation class covering sit, down, wait, coming when called, polite greetings and walking nicely on a leash, with weekly problem solving. A four-week refresher reviews skills with distractions, Beginner II adds distance stays and go-to-bed work, and the Canine Good Citizen class prepares dogs for the AKC award. Field trips take training into public places. Classes run at a training facility in Snohomish, and the business mailing address is in Marysville.

How they train

The trainers say there is not just one way to train dogs and that they adjust techniques to suit each dog and owner, drawing on more than ten years of training and behavior modification experience.
