About Impawsible Pups

What it is

Impawsible Pups is a Richmond facility that combines dog training with grooming, daycare and boarding. The business states it has been operating since 2009 and describes itself as a woman-owned small business.

Training

Training is one of four core services and is presented as comprehensive rather than class-by-class. The site's stated aim is lasting behavior change, and it describes trainers who take time to understand each dog's personality, needs and routine. Client accounts on the site describe work with a dog-reactive rescue that went from being overwhelmed around other dogs, people and new environments to minimal reactions and off-leash outings.

The team

The site names its team by role: Valerie is listed as Master Trainer and Owner, Brittney as Professional Dog Trainer, Aliya on daycare and boarding, and Miki as Professional Dog Groomer. The business presents its expertise as the thing that distinguishes it.

Beyond training

Grooming, daycare and boarding round out the offer, with the site emphasizing keeping nervous dogs at ease during grooming. Classes are also run on specific themes – a senior dog class is advertised as a six-week course covering how to support an aging dog's health, comfort and quality of life.

Practical details

The facility is on Spencer Road in Richmond, with online booking and a customer account portal.
