About Inertia Canine LLC

What they offer

Inertia Canine runs board and train camps from a small-client home environment in Tempe, deliberately limiting the number of dogs. The Real-World Reliability Camp, for dogs 4 months and older, is 30 consecutive days of training on loose-leash walking, recall, focus, impulse control and calm behavior at home and in public, followed by a go-home lesson, three follow-up lessons and lifetime support.

Other camps

Hybrid Camps run Monday through Friday for owners who want to stay involved, in three- or five-week versions with weekly go-home lessons; they do not accept aggression cases. Adventure Camp is a six-week immersive program with training on day trips, hikes and overnight travel.

How they train

The trainer is certified in the Training Without Conflict methodology, which focuses on the dog's state of mind and why behaviors happen, combined with structured play. The site says tools such as e-collars or prong collars may be used thoughtfully.
