About It’s A Dogs Life Academy
What they offer
It's A Dogs Life Academy is a San Clemente business on El Camino Real that combines pack walks, daycare, training and boarding. Its owner, Alecia Nelson, started boarding and training dogs in Malibu in 2004 before opening the San Clemente location in 2014.
Training
Obedience training follows what the site calls the four pillars of positive pup training. Online obedience and behavioral training is offered by video call, and a bootcamp serves stubborn dogs, with private training on weekends.
Other services
Structured pack walks go to the beach and trails around San Clemente, and the business also runs daycare and in-home boarding.
