About Ivy’s Dog Training

Puppy-focused training in Keizer

Ivy's Dog Training is run by Ivy, a professional balanced dog trainer based in Keizer who has served Salem and the surrounding communities since 2021. After a brief step back to start a family, she returned with a focus entirely on puppies and early development, built on the belief that genuine trust and respect between a dog and their person changes everything. She specializes in foundational obedience and manners and refers dogs with behavioral issues to trusted behavior experts in the area.

First Steps Puppy Program

The First Steps Puppy Program is a two-week board and train for puppies 12 weeks to 6 months, with older puppies considered on request. Puppies stay in Ivy's home as part of the family, with daily training sessions on cues such as sit, down, bed and heel, plus boundaries and thresholds. Owners get progress updates, a full handoff lesson at pickup and follow-up support. The published investment is $1,800, and spots are limited. A free phone consult is available first.
