About J C M’s Dog Training

An all-breed obedience school

JCM's All Breed Dog Obedience School specializes in behavior modification, obedience training and service dog training, with group courses in Metairie, the Westbank and the Northshore. Veteran instructor Jean Manino has provided dog obedience training for New Orleans and the surrounding areas since 1979. Training is taught to AKC regulations and standards, and all breeds and mixes are welcome.

Method

Programs are based on dog psychology and taught from the dog's perspective, a method the school calls Natural Dogmanship. Training runs without treats, clickers or electric collars.

Programs

The school offers an 8 Week Basic Group Course covering behavior training, voice commands, hand signals and on- and off-leash work; 1 to 2 hour behavioral training sessions; 4 and 8 week one-on-one private programs at home or at the facility; board and train; general service dog and assistance dog training through the board and train program; behavioral seminars; and trick and animal actor training. Pet boarding with webcams is also available.
