About J9’s K9s Dog Training

What they offer

J9's K9s Dog Training is a dog training school that runs group classes and private training for puppies and dogs of all ages and breeds, from basic through advanced obedience, behavior modification and competitive dog sport skills. Group classes are held at its indoor training facility in Canoga Park.

Private training

Private work starts with an initial consultation that takes a detailed history and sets a training plan. Coaching lessons then follow at the facility, in your home or in places where the behavior happens, or as live Zoom sessions. The school addresses anxiety, reactivity and aggression and also offers a pre-puppy consultation and in-home day training for dogs over six months.

Approach

The school uses science-based, positive reinforcement methods and includes ongoing trainer support for clients. It states that it does not offer boarding, pet sitting, board and train or protection training.
