About K-9 Playtime

K-9 Playtime on Atlantic Avenue describes itself as Rochester's premier doggy daycare, and it publishes a K-9 Training service page alongside its daycare, boarding and grooming pages.

What the site publishes

The daycare is the substance of the site: 100 percent interactive human and canine play across multiple rubber-floored playrooms, a secure outdoor play and potty area, and toys, dog beds and couches. It is open 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5pm Saturday, closed Sundays. Overnight boarding runs to twenty suites, where dogs play and socialize during the day before retiring to their own rooms. Grooming and bathing have their own page, as do enrollment and vaccination requirements and the rates.

The training

K-9 Training appears as one of the facility's service pages. Ask about the program, the levels and the trainer. It is published as a service of the facility rather than as a visiting trainer's class.

Visiting

Tours are offered so owners can see where their dog would spend the day, with appointments suggested, because the site notes that a tour is not possible if staff are occupied or if dogs are loose in the facility. Birthdays get a free day of daycare. Saturday playgroups with owners and private parties are listed as currently on hold.
