About k9 Alpha Training

What they offer

k9 Alpha Training is based in the Santa Fe area and works on obedience, socialization, puppy manners, public behavior and problem dogs. Private training starts with an in-home assessment, after which the trainer builds a behavior and obedience program that can address aggression, manners, introducing a new dog or baby, separation anxiety and recall.

Group classes and boot camp

Sunday group classes meet in a park or another announced location and include hikes, plaza walks and outings to practice public manners. An intensive boot camp has the dog live with the trainer, his dogs and horses for a condensed training period, followed by a hand-over to the owner. A specialized program teaches dogs and horses to work together on rides.

About the trainer

The trainer is Indigo Adakai, who lists a Level 1 law enforcement K9 basic handler certification and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
