About K9-Coach Home Dog Training

Private training at your home

K9-Coach Home Dog Training is a mobile private dog training service in The Woodlands that also covers Montgomery, Magnolia, Conroe and Spring. Trainer Scott Beckman brings over 20 years of experience and comes to the owner's home on the owner's schedule, or works remotely through a virtual training program.

The approach

Scott frames himself as a coach: the owner is the dog's trainer, and he teaches clear communication and leadership. He describes the method as real communication and real leadership. Topics include puppy training, leash training, obedience, behavior modification, reactivity, jumping, pulling and anxiety.

Programs and support

Programs start at $695 and come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee plus one year of training support. The business says it has served 2,300+ satisfied dog owners.

What owners say

A Conroe client wrote that after one session "it made a world of difference" for a rescue with no prior training.
