About K9 Leadership Training

In-home training in Centerville

K9 Leadership Training is a Centerville dog training business that calls itself a trusted Davis County dog trainer for 20+ years. Trainer Chris Krantz believes training should be fun for both dog and owner and uses engaging games and challenges to keep a dog's focus. Chris says experience has taught her to avoid selling one philosophy, because every dog is different and a mismatch can make a dog shut down.

Programs and prices

Puppy Training costs $400 and includes three private in-home sessions plus weekly puppy workshops for puppies under 5 months, covering crate and potty training, socialization, grooming, mouthing, recall, leash introduction, impulse control, tricks and interacting with children. Adult Training costs $800 for dogs 5 months and older and includes 5 private in-home sessions, followed by distraction training in group classes with other clients once basic obedience is solid. The Combo Package costs $1050, saving $150, and carries a dog from puppyhood into adolescence.

Behavior help

Chris works on issues such as house soiling, nipping, barking, biting, bolting through doors, jumping on guests, digging, leash pulling, separation anxiety and crate training. Clients join a community of owners who meet often to reinforce lessons.

What owners say

One client wrote that Chris "makes dogs just make sense."
