About Lather And Leash K9

Lather And Leash K9 is a four-service pet-care business in Wayland: grooming, boarding, daycare and training, sold as a single place to take a dog rather than as a training school with sidelines. The site's own framing is "pet care you can trust, right in town", which is the practical appeal – in a county where most training means a drive, this is a village business.

What is offered

Four services are listed, each with a short description. Grooming is the one the site leads with. Boarding is described as plush beds, playtime and personalized attention. Daycare is described as socializing and play under supervision. Training is listed as "Personalized Dog Training – Unlock your dog's full potential through personalized training sessions tailored to their unique needs". The services page adds a line headed "Expert Training & Fun" that promises to "Boost your dog's skills with our professional training sessions".

What to ask

The training offer is described in two sentences of marketing copy, so the first phone call is the place to find out what the program actually is. Ask what is taught, whether sessions are private or group, how long a program runs, what it costs, and what methods or tools are used.

Who runs it

The About page names the owner as Caitlin and says she has over twenty years of experience, with the business built around treating every pet as family and taking the time to learn each animal's individual personality and preferences.
