About Legion Dog Training

One dog at a time

Legion Dog Training is an Austin trainer for owners who want real change rather than endless sessions, built around clarity and structure. Trainer Casey Bates gave up bite work, protection and sport obedience to focus on everyday family dogs, first-time owners and rescue cases, and is credited with over 20 years working with every breed. The business works with one dog at a time, so spaces are limited, and serves Austin, West Austin, Bee Cave, Westlake, Lakeway and surrounding areas, with remote options too.

Programs and prices

The Board & Train is the most immersive local option, aimed at deeper structure and clearer leadership, and includes handoff guidance and a defined transition support period: $3,000 for 14 days or $4,000 for 30 days. Legion Foundation is a 4-week private program for $1,800 in which Casey comes in each week, teaches the next key piece, coaches the owner and returns the following week to refine it. A Behavior Reset program and dog adventures are offered as well.

What owners say

One family wrote that the training "didn't just change my dog it changed how our entire household functions."
