What they offer

Lex K9 Dog Training lists its service areas as San Diego, San Clemente, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Fallbrook, Temecula and Murrieta. Its training packages are private lessons for owners who want to be part of the process, a three-week on-leash board and train for dogs at least six months old, and a six-week off-leash board and train for dogs of about eight or nine months and up that covers off-leash heeling, off-leash recall and distance place.

Puppies

The Puppy Foundation Program is a two-week puppy board and train for puppies between three and six months that need help with crate training, house training and a foundation for later formal obedience.

Protection and sport dogs

The head trainer started training in 2012 and competes as a senior decoy in the PSA protection sport. The business offers private protection dog training case by case, decoy seminars and club workshops, and sources and trains family protection dogs. A free in-person evaluation is offered.
