Lisa's Dog Services is a Tampa dog training and pet care business run by Lisa, who uses only positive reinforcement and rewards good behavior with a favorite toy, treats and praise. She describes herself as licensed and insured, and at the consultation she shows sample training plans and a contract that either side can end at any time.

Training

Private sessions run an hour: $75 for basic or advanced obedience and $100 for more serious issues such as dog-on-dog aggression or separation anxiety. Lisa demonstrates each cue and then has the owner perform it, and she refers serious cases to a behaviorist when needed. Her board and train has the dog stay in her home with several sessions a day, two daily walks and an evening email report; it costs $300 for the first week and $250 for the second, plus $50 per extra day. It suits house-breaking issues.

Other care

Boarding in her home, with a fenced front and back yard, costs $50 for the first night and $30 after. Pet-sitting in the client's home and dog walking are also offered. The meet and greet costs $20, and is free at her home for boarding and board and train clients.
