Saling's Obedience School (S.O.S.) Family Dog Training is a Brandon obedience school founded by Mike and Brenda Saling, who have earned honors, awards and titles with their own dogs. The school cites over 30 years of dedication to promoting a reliable, gentle, easy to handle, sociable household pet, and specializes in puppy and dog obedience training.

How classes work

All classes are structured toward teaching owners to understand and communicate with their pets through positive reinforcement. The Salings see the owner-pet relationship as central and want dogs treated as a Pet-Kid and a cherished family member. The atmosphere is casual, and many students form lasting friendships and keep training for some time.

Puppies and adult dogs

Puppy obedience training is a specialty, covering potty training, leash walking, attention and focus, listening, chewing, barking, rough play, jumping and digging. Adult dogs are welcome too, to become more respectful family members.
