About Little Miss K9
What they offer
Little Miss K9 is a Tacoma training business working in partnership with a local service dog trainer. Every training plan starts with a home assessment, where the trainer comes to the owner's home to meet the family and dog and propose a plan. Private one-hour sessions focus on the owner's specific goals, including correcting behavior problems and service dog training, and virtual sessions are available. Courses include a four-week Puppy Development course for puppies 12 to 18 weeks covering basic commands, potty and crate training, socialization, body language and nipping, and a six-week Basic Obedience course covering loose-leash walking, sit, down, stay, come, wait, off and leave it, with an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class.
How they train
The trainer uses positive reinforcement and the least abrasive, science-based ways to engage with dogs.
About the trainer
