Love My Dog Inc., which its site also calls The Dog Coach, is a Columbus dog training organization that works alongside its service dog work. Its about page describes it as "a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing trained service animals to individuals with disabilities", and the site says the program was founded in late 2016. A notice on the home page announces a move: "You can find us at Northside Animal Hospital in Columbus, Georgia."

Training

The pet side is sold as private obedience courses in 5, 8 and 10 week lengths, with a separate evaluation, plus four-lesson and eight-lesson packs, puppy and obedience lessons, and a board and train stay listed on the pricing page as "Dog Boarding and Training". A 10 week behavior course is "designed for dog owners seeking to address and transform fearful and aggressive behaviors in their pets" and lists desensitization, counter-conditioning and management among its methods. Detection and tracking and service dog task training are sold as their own courses.

Method

The home page says "Our trainers use positive reinforcement methods to teach your dog basic obedience commands". The obedience course is leash-based and marker-based: it covers "Mastering leash pressure and luring for essential commands: Sit, Come, Stay, and Heel", the markers Yes, Good and No, and leash correction, with the note that "Behavior is progressive and skills are compounding."

Practical

Prices are published for every course on the pricing page, from the 5 week obedience course upward, and the page opens with an offer of a custom quote. The site also lists pet sitting visits and boarding rates alongside the training.
