About Island Labradors

What they do

The business's website trades as Island Labradors and is based in Brunswick, Glynn County, off the Highway 95 exit 36 – roughly an hour from either Savannah or Jacksonville. It is principally a Labrador breeding program, and it also advertises service dog training and service dog training consulting.

Service dog work

The service dog side is described as creating individual training plans for families with children with disabilities, and the site names PTSD, therapy dogs and autism among the situations it works with. Consulting is offered both over the phone and in person, and the site says it is aimed at families who want support shaped to their own circumstances rather than a fixed course.

Worth knowing

The business name and the site name differ – Macy's Autism Pals and Island Labradors – so it is worth confirming which you are contacting. The puppies and the training openings are advertised together on the home page, and availability changes, so the current position is best checked directly.
