About Sunshine K9 Training LLC

What they do

Sunshine K9 Training is a small, owner-run board and train program based in Brunswick. Three packages are priced on the site: an Obedience Foundation and Manners Program over three weeks at $3,275, covering leash manners, household structure and engagement around distractions; an Off-Leash Lifestyle Program over four weeks at $4,200, adding public access work and off-leash reliability; and a Puppy Kickstart Program of six to eight weeks from $5,690, built around crate training, confidence, socialization and foundation obedience. Private in-home lessons, behavior consultations, online courses and boarding are also listed, and an in-person evaluation is offered at $49.

Method

The stated approach is to teach the owner first: "we make dog training fun and simple by teaching you how to communicate effectively with your dog." The site is also candid about limits – it says no training guarantees perfection, that fear, anxiety and aggression take time and consistency, and that progress depends on the owner's follow-through afterwards.

Setting and scope

The business started in 2019 and describes itself as intentionally small: one trainer runs every program, answers the calls and works the dogs, in a real home environment rather than a large facility. The service area is given as Brunswick, the Golden Isles, Jacksonville and the surrounding beach communities, with virtual training for anyone further out.
