About Maligators Dog Training
Balanced training in Pinellas County
Maligators Dog Training serves Largo, Clearwater, Palm Harbor and the rest of Pinellas County with what it calls a unique balanced style of training, aimed at more obedient, confident dogs and a stronger bond with their owners. Its trainers, described as pro certified, get to know each dog personally and take dogs of any age, size, breed or temperament.
Programs
Board and train, the most popular option, keeps dogs at a home scenario-based training facility with third-shift staff and motion-alert cameras, followed by lessons on continuing the work at home. Day and train gives busy owners structured training while they work, and daycare adds guidance and socialization on weekdays, with drop-off 7:30-8:30AM and pickup 6:00-7:00PM. Puppy training for pups 5 months and under uses food and positive luring. Board and review keeps graduates' skills sharp while owners travel. Group classes are open to graduates or after a $60 temperament evaluation, and CGC skills are practiced in private lessons or weekly group classes.
What owners say
One owner wrote that their rescue Great Pyrenees developed leash reactivity, and "following Christina's guidance, we've been able to work on his reactivity SO much."
