Full-service kennel with gun dog training

Markover Kennels is an owner-operated, state-licensed boarding, grooming and training facility at 699 Cook Hill Road in Danielson, open seven days a week. Dogs can train, play and stay on 300+ acres of preserve, and the kennel's sister company is the family-owned Markover Hunting Preserve.

Training

Markover offers on-site obedience training and gun dog training, and says it is one of the few facilities in New England providing gun dog services for gun dog breeds. Owner and operator Justin Olsen has worked with dogs since he was 15, beginning on the grounds of his grandfather's hunting preserve, and after over 25 years of working with all breeds he is comfortable being hands-on with any dog. He gets to know each dog and owner before recommending a plan.

Other services

Markover also offers grooming packages, boarding with regular daily exercise and play, daycare, and local van service for a minimal fee.
